We have made some charitable donations to various charities of note recently. Here are some of the highlights:
We made a contribution to Dundee United Community Trust (DUCT) Kiltwalk which took place on Sunday 19th August 2018. The funds raised from this event will help DUCT host a Christmas Dinner at Tannadice Stadium– on Christmas Day – for vulnerable people in the City who may otherwise be on their own. The Trust held a really successful event in the run up to Christmas last year and heard the story of local women Mary, who had not been out of the house in weeks. It’s Mary’s story which inspired the Trust to open the doors on Christmas day this year.
Lee Fotheringham of Voigt Architects, Arbroath ran the Loch Ness Marathon on 23rd September 2018 for Callum’s Cabin. The Scottish Charity provides respite and accommodation for families dealing with life-changing illnesses. We donated a two-figure sum to the cause and helped Lee raise £830.00
Our neighbours RSB Lindsay Solicitors, who we share an office block with, held a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September 2018. Some of our staff headed up the stairs to their offices to join them for some tea and cakes. We made a two-figure donation to the charity from our charity tuck shop funds.
By continuing to choose Millard Consulting as your Civil Engineers, we can continue to make donations to worthwhile charities. Thank you.
