A shortlist of 20 entries competed for awards over 11 categories and we were pleased to present the award for Best Commercial / Non-Domestic project to Wellwood Leslie Architects for the outstanding R&A Equipment Test Centre in Kingsbarns.
Millard Consulting prepared structural and civil engineering designs of many of the short-listed projects, including Rose Cottage, Inchture with Jon Frullani Architects and the Courtyard Residential Development at Strathmore Avenue, Dundee with ARKTX.
The evening was MC’d by Erin Linton with speeches from the President of the DIA, Diarmid McLachlan, and guest speaker Jim Leishman. Jon Frullani, Vice-President of the DIA, concluded formalities with the Vote of Thanks.
Congratulations to all the winners and to those who received commendations for their projects. We’re looking forward to seeing if this year’s high standard of architecture in the Dundee chapter can be beaten in 2018.
