At Millard Consulting, we are committed to developing and engaging our employees to deliver the highest quality service and professionalism.  We recognise the importance of the skills and knowledge that support our core business, and are very keen to encourage the development of all staff to obtain these.

The company has a registered training scheme with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and also has in place supervising civil engineers who have been approved by the ICE to oversee and personally monitor the training of members in accordance with the Institution’s guidelines and requirements.  In addition to this there are a number of other Chartered Engineers who are currently in the process of registration to undertake Supervising Civil Engineering roles to help strengthen the company’s desire for uplifting our current level of professional competence.

We have a high level of academic attainment within the group with a large percentage of staff holding high level academic qualifications as well as a number holding professional qualifications.

We are currently supporting a number of staff through part time study to achieve their professional accreditation and are very keen to promote and encourage more staff to participate in achieving chartered membership of the recognised professional institutes.

We recognise that chartered membership obtainment is becoming an increasingly important selling point to our clients, as they recognise the value and importance of working alongside accredited professionals.  The company is committed to developing its staff and will pay for appropriate membership and professional fees.

All our employees have regular appraisals with their line manager where clear objectives are developed and agreed and personal development plans are produced and reviewed on a regular basis.
