Biography
Scott McEwan is a Chartered Civil Engineer who joined the company in 2008. Prior to joining Millard Consulting he spent 3 years with WA Fairhurst and Partners where he was a key member of the design team on the Aberdeen Union Square Development. Previously, he spent 2 years at Scott Wilson Railways, which included working on the proposed Edinburgh Airport Rail Link.
His current role as Senior Engineer within the structures team includes the management and delivery of structural projects for a variety of Clients. Scott has over 12 years experience in the design and analysis of timber, steel, masonry and reinforced concrete structures across all the major sectors. Particular experience has been gained in timber framed housing for both domestic Clients and large scale developers.
Scott is also an Approved Certifier of Design accredited with Structural Engineers Registration Ltd (SER).
He is also experienced in the structural inspection and assessment of existing buildings and has led and managed a number of large scale structural condition assessment commissions on non-traditional construction types.
