Ross Methven

Biography

Ross joined Morgan Associates in 2003 as a graduate engineer, where he quickly progressed to becoming an associate in 2012, then Partner in 2015.

With over 20 years’ experience in both civil and structural engineering projects, Ross has extensive experience in a variety of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and housing including bespoke housing and extensions.

He is also experienced in the structural inspection and assessment of existing buildings and has been involved in numerous building assessments for RAAC including replacement and strengthening options.

Ross has lead a number of large scale projects including new build steel frames, timber framed structures and alterations to existing buildings.  Ross has vast experience in using 3D design software for steel frame including portal framed structures.

In 2025, Morgan Associates were acquired by Millard Consulting and Ross joined as Associate Director, and jointly leads the structures team.
